Building the Next Generation of Space and STEM Innovators
From inspiration to real-world pathways, Faiz Space equips students with the skills, exposure, and opportunities to pursue futures in science, technology, and space
Over 86,000 students reached through 520+ STEM and space programs worldwide
Why Space Education Matters
The global space economy is expanding rapidly, creating new opportunities in satellite technology, robotics, data science, and exploration.
Yet many young people still lack access to meaningful STEM experiences that connect learning with real-world application.
Without early exposure, students often disengage from science and never see a pathway into these fields.
Faiz Space exists to change that.
We use space as a gateway to spark curiosity, build practical skills, and guide students toward sustained participation in STEM, from early engagement to future academic and career pathways.

Since 2007, Faiz Space has reached over 86,000 students through hands-on STEM programs, including rocketry, space science, and applied engineering workshops.
Our work goes beyond one-off engagement. We design structured learning experiences that build interest, develop skills, and guide students toward continued participation in STEM.
What began as grassroots outreach has evolved into a proven model that connects early exposure to measurable outcomes in STEM education and career pathways.

Our Purpose
INSPIRE
Inspiring the Next Generation
We introduce students to space and science through engaging talks and outreach programs that spark curiosity and expand what they believe is possible.
EXPLORE
Hands-On STEM Learning
Through structured workshops in rocketry, engineering, and applied science, students build practical skills, problem-solving ability, and confidence in STEM.
CONNECT
Building Pathways into STEM
We connect students to educators, institutions, and industry partners, creating clear pathways from early exposure to higher education, internships, and careers in STEM.
About Faiz Space
Faiz Space is a global initiative focused on building the next generation of space and STEM innovators through structured, hands-on learning experiences.
Over the past 15 years, initiatives led by Faiz Space, including AstroX, GoSTEM, Spacevio, and Axis Experience, have delivered more than 520 STEM programs, reaching over 86,000 students.
We design programs that spark interest, build practical skills, and create clear pathways for students to continue into STEM education and future careers.
Founder
Faiz Kamaludin is an airline captain and former national astronaut candidate who has spent more than fifteen years advancing space and STEM education.
Early in his career, he was selected as one of the final four candidates in Malaysia’s national astronaut program and trained with Roscosmos in Moscow. That experience shaped his long-term commitment to space, science, and education.
During the selection process, Faiz participated in outreach programs in hospitals and schools. One encounter with a young patient left a lasting impression and reinforced a simple idea: science and space can inspire hope, curiosity, and ambition in young people.
That moment defined the direction of his work.
Over the following years, Faiz founded and supported initiatives including AstroX, GoSTEM, Spacevio, and Axis Experience. Together, these initiatives have delivered over 520 STEM programs, reaching more than 86,000 students.
Faiz Space represents the next phase of this work, translating fifteen years of field experience into a scalable model that connects early inspiration to real outcomes in STEM education and careers.
Founder
A Growing Space Education Ecosystem
Faiz Space builds on a network of initiatives developed over more than a decade, each designed to play a role in a larger STEM learning ecosystem.
AstroX
Grassroots outreach introducing students to science and space
GoSTEM
Structured, school-based STEM programs designed for scale
Spacevio
A consortium of 17 organisations advancing space education and collaboration
Axis Experience
Experiential aerospace learning programs connecting theory to real-world application
Together, these initiatives form a scalable ecosystem that moves students from first exposure to sustained participation in STEM education and careers.
