About Us
Building pathways into STEM and space education for the next generation
Faiz Space is a global initiative building pathways into STEM and space education through structured, hands-on learning and real-world engagement.
Founded by airline captain and former national astronaut candidate Faiz Kamaludin, the initiative builds on more than fifteen years of work advancing STEM education. Since 2007, these efforts have delivered over 520 programs, reaching more than 86,000 students.
Our Mission
To make space and STEM education accessible while building scalable pathways into education and careers in science and technology.
Faiz Space brings together outreach, applied learning, and ecosystem partnerships to move students from early curiosity to practical capability. Through initiatives such as AstroX, GoSTEM, Spacevio, and Axis Experience, the model connects students to continued learning, mentorship, and broader STEM opportunities.
As the global demand for STEM talent grows, Faiz Space focuses on ensuring that young people are not only inspired, but equipped and supported to participate in shaping the future of science, technology, and space.
Our Impact and Social Return

social value
3.5×
Faiz Space measures impact not only by participation, but by long-term value created through education, skills development, and access to opportunities.
To date, our programs have generated an estimated 3.5x social return on investment, meaning every dollar invested creates measurable value in student outcomes, teacher capacity, and STEM engagement.
This includes:
> Direct student participation in hands-on STEM learning
> Teacher training and classroom integration
> Increased access to STEM pathways for underserved communities
Our approach focuses on building lasting capability, not just one-time exposure.
Our Journey
What started as a grassroots initiative has grown into a multi-platform ecosystem advancing space and STEM education across regions.
Each phase has built on the last, expanding reach, capability, and partnerships.

Our Programs
What We Deliver
Faiz Space programs are designed as structured pathways, from first exposure to advanced hands-on learning and real-world application
STEM Outreach
School-based programs introducing students to space science, engineering, and future STEM pathways
Rocketry Programs
Hands-on engineering experiences where students design, build, and launch rockets while learning physics and teamwork
Mission Simulations
Structured learning environments where students solve real-world challenges inspired by space missions
Global Partnerships
Collaborations with schools, universities, and industry partners to expand access and scale impact across regions
Looking Ahead
Faiz Space is entering its next phase of growth, focused on scaling impact, expanding access, and building sustainable pathways into STEM
Over the next decade, we aim to:
> Reach 100,000 additional students through structured programs
> Expand into new regions through school and institutional partnerships
> Develop advanced learning pathways for students progressing into STEM fields
> Strengthen collaborations across education, industry, and the global space ecosystem
Our goal is clear: To equip the next generation with the skills, confidence, and opportunities to participate in the future of science and space

Join the Mission
Faiz Space works with schools, educators, partners, and funders who are committed to expanding access to meaningful STEM education.
We are building a platform that connects students to opportunities, and we are actively looking for partners who want to be part of that journey.
Whether through program delivery, funding support, or strategic collaboration, there are multiple ways to contribute to this work.
Together, we can build pathways that prepare the next generation for the future of science and space.
