Building the Next Generation of Space Innovators

Over 86,000 students reached through 520+ STEM and space programs worldwide

Why Space Education Matters

The global space economy is expanding rapidly, with new opportunities emerging in satellite technology, robotics, data science, and exploration.

Yet millions of young people still lack access to meaningful STEM learning experiences that connect science with real-world discovery.

Without early exposure to science and engineering, many students will never see themselves as future innovators.

Faiz Space exists to close this gap.

We inspire curiosity, build skills, and create pathways for the next generation to participate in humanity’s journey beyond Earth.

About Faiz Space

Faiz Space is a global initiative dedicated to inspiring the next generation of space innovators through STEM education and experiential learning.

Building on more than fifteen years of outreach initiatives such as AstroX, GoSTEM, Spacevio, and Axis Xperience, programs connected to Faiz Space have delivered more than 520 STEM programs reaching over 86,000 students.

Through outreach, hands-on workshops, and mission-inspired learning experiences, Faiz Space connects young people with the science, technology, and imagination that drive humanity’s exploration of space.

Founder

Faiz Kamaludin is an airline captain and former national astronaut candidate who has spent more than fifteen years advancing space and STEM education.

Earlier in his career, Faiz was selected as one of the final four candidates in Malaysia’s national astronaut program and trained with Roscosmos in Moscow. The experience deepened his fascination with space exploration and strengthened his belief that the future of humanity will increasingly extend beyond Earth.

During the astronaut selection process, he participated in community outreach programs that brought candidates into hospitals and schools. One encounter with a young patient left a lasting impression on him. It reinforced a simple idea: the power of science and space exploration to inspire hope, curiosity, and ambition in young people.

That moment shaped the direction of his work.

Over the following years, Faiz founded and supported a series of initiatives including AstroX, GoSTEM, Spacevio, and Axis Xperience. Together, these initiatives have delivered over 520 STEM and space education programs, reaching more than 86,000 students across Malaysia and building the foundation for Faiz Space.

Faiz Space represents the next phase of this mission. It brings together fifteen years of experience in education, outreach, and international collaboration to build a global platform that inspires, connects, and empowers the next generation of space innovators.
